Could the Browns reunite Deshaun Watson and DeAndre Hopkins?

Reports have surfaced that the Cardinals will attempt to trade WR DeAndre Hopkins in the offseason as the team goes into rebuild mode. Should the Browns reunite Hopkins with QB Deshaun Watson?

The two were electric together in Houston, connecting for 3,343 yards and 25 touchdowns. Perhaps a reunion could provide the spark that ignites the Browns offense.

Hopkins does turn 31-years-old in June, but he certainly has at least a couple of years left in him. He could help Watson return to his normal self after struggling since his return from suspension.

However, the Browns do have a lack of draft capital after trading for Watson. They aren't scheduled to pick until No. 43 in the second round of the 2023 NFL Draft.

The Texans dealt Hopkins to the Cardinals for a second-round pick a couple of years ago. If Arizona is willing to do the same, Cleveland has to at least consider going all in for him.

Pairing Hopkins with WR Amari Cooper would create a dangerous duo as well. Cooper just posted his sixth season with 1,000 receiving yards and a career-high nine touchdowns in 2022.

Hopkins seems to be already looking toward the future in what could still be an exciting offseason for the Browns.
