The Dallas Cowboys have no choice but to change their travel plans for their Week 3 showdown with the Chicago Bears.

According to The Dallas Morning News, there's an equipment malfunction at both Dallas airports. That leaves the Cowboys in an unfortunate spot because they were due to depart from Dallas at 3:30 p.m. local time, per ProFootballTalk. As of now, their departure time hasn't been updated.

"Yesterday’s disruption was caused by multiple failures of the TDMI data telecommunications service provided by Frontier — a local telecommunications company," the Federal Aviation Administration told The Dallas Morning News.

Luckily for the Cowboys, they don't play the Bears until 4:25 p.m. ET. They have plenty of time to catch a flight to the Windy City. Make no mistake though, Saturday's delay could affect the team's pregame routine.

It's a "revenge game" for Dallas.

Cowboys defensive coordinator Matt Eberflus has a chance this Sunday to shut down his former team. The former Chicago Bears head coach was fired last season after going 14-32.

Eberflus isn't interested in trash talking his former squad. Cowboys head coach Brian Schottenheimer, however, made it clear that he wants to win this game for Eberflus.

"I think the best thing in the world would be for us to play well, win this game, and give Matt Eberflus the game ball after we play well and beat Chicago," Schottenheimer said.

We'll see if the Cowboys can take down the Bears and improve to 2-1 on the season.
