Cowboys All-Pro Micah Parsons reveals what he says to Dak Prescott every day

During a recent interview on the "Pivot Podcast," Dallas Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons revealed what he says to quarterback Dak Prescott on a daily basis.

Parsons' words come on the heels of a recent report that he was called out by head coach Mike McCarthy for hitting Prescott during practice.

The All-Pro's comments are also in the wake of last week's trash-talking episode between the signal-caller and Pro Bowl cornerback Trevon Diggs (which the pair of players later downplayed).

The Cowboys defense is again projected to be one of the best in the NFL this fall, thanks in large part to Diggs and Parsons. Both 24-year-olds are among the brightest defensive stars in the game, evidenced by their four Pro Bowl honors and three First-Team All-Pro nods in just five combined seasons.

Despite having elite talent such as Pro Bowl running back Tony Pollard, two-time Pro Bowl wide receiver CeeDee Lamb and newcomer Brandin Cooks on offense, the pressure on Prescott keeps building each offseason. That's the responsibility that comes with being the starting quarterback for "America's Team."

Prescott had one of his worst seasons in 2022. He was limited to 12 games due to a thumb injury that he suffered in Week 1. The former AP Offensive Rookie of the Year finished with his worst completion percentage since 2019 (66.2%), his worst quarterback rating since 2017 (91.1) and a career-high (and league-leading) 15 interceptions, despite the five missed contests.

Prescott will look to bounce back in 2023 and not only make his first Pro Bowl since 2018 but finally get Dallas over its playoff struggles. Despite having 12 postseason appearances since their last Super Bowl title during the 1995 campaign, the Cowboys haven't advanced past the divisional round since then.
