Dallas Cowboys wide receiver George Pickens has established himself as one of the premier wide receivers in the NFL. During his four years in the league, Pickens has played in 65 games, hauling in 267 receptions for 4,270 yards and 21 touchdowns.

He was taken in the second round of the 2022 NFL Draft by the Pittsburgh Steelers after playing his college football with the Georgia Bulldogs. The 2025 season was his first with the Cowboys after spending the first three years of his career with the Steelers.

The 24-year-old wideout was traded from Pittsburgh to Dallas last offseason for a pair of draft picks.

The trade turned out to be a successful one for Dallas, as Pickens had one of the best seasons of any receiver in the league in 2025. He totaled 93 receptions for 1,429 yards and nine scores, all of which were career highs.

This past season was Pickens' last on his four-year rookie contract, which means he will become an unrestricted free agent this offseason if he and the Cowboys do not reach an extension agreement.

With the buzz surrounding Pickens' future in Dallas, on Saturday, the Cowboys shared that Pickens was given AP All-Pro Second Team honors.

"These 'Boys earned AP All-Pro honors ⭐️," the caption read.

Pickens joined return specialist KaVontae Turpin and kicker Brandon Aubrey (also second-team picks) as the only Cowboys players to be selected to an All-Pro team. This was the first selection for Pickens in his career.

He was also selected to represent Dallas in this season's Pro Bowl Games.

While there is uncertainty about his future with the Cowboys, there's no doubt quarterback Dak Prescott and the Dallas faithful would love to see Pickens keep the star on his helmet for years to come.
