The Dallas Cowboys made one of the biggest splash trades of the NFL offseason, sending Micah Parsons to the Green Bay Packers.

With the loss of Parsons came more insurance in the run game, but the Cowboys were lacking a true pass-rusher before the emergence of defensive end Jadeveon Clowney.

Clowney is currently playing in his first season with the Dallas Cowboys, having previously spent time with the following teams: the Houston Texans, Seattle Seahawks, Tennessee Titans, Cleveland Browns, Baltimore Ravens and Carolina Panthers.

While he's grown to be a solid player for Dallas, he was unfortunately ruled out of the Cowboys' lineup in Week 14 against the Detroit Lions.

Clowney was listed among the inactive list for the "Thursday Night Football" match against the Detroit Lions after attempting to give it a go.

The Cowboys' defensive end joined his teammates for pre-game warmups but was ultimately ruled out with a hamstring injury.

The injury for Clowney occurred in Dallas' previous matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs, where the defensive end posted two sacks on Thanksgiving Day.

In his first season with the Dallas Cowboys, Jadeveon Clowney has posted four sacks and 15 tackles. He's helped lead the Cowboys to a three-game win streak, having defeated the Chiefs, Las Vegas Raiders and Philadelphia Eagles.

Clowney will look to make his return for the Cowboys when Dallas plays the Minnesota Vikings on primetime in Week 15.
