The Dallas Cowboys are 3-3-1 going into Week 8 after a 44-22 win over the Washington Commanders.

The offense has played well, and the return of star wide receiver CeeDee Lamb was a big boost for the offense.

On the other hand, the Dallas defense has struggled ever since trading Micah Parsons to the Green Bay Packers.

The Cowboys face the Denver Broncos in Week 8, and Sean Payton's team is fresh off a thrilling 33-32 win over the New York Giants.

On Wednesday, the Cowboys opened the 21-day practice window for DeMarvion Overshown.

Afterwards, the Cowboys linebacker spoke about returning to the field.

“It’s that time. It’s time to go," Overshown said, via Jon Machota of The Athletic.

"When I get between those lines, the sky is the limit for me," he continued. "I’m not saying that to be cocky or anything, but I know what I bring to the field. There’s really no stress or pressure on me. I know what I’m capable of. Last year was still just me getting my feet wet so we still really haven’t seen what all I can do.”

Overshown suffered a torn ACL, MCL and PCL last December and has been out ever since.

He was selected in the third round of the 2024 NFL Draft after a strong one with the Texas Longhorns.

In his rookie season, he had 56 tackles with five sacks, a forced fumble, a fumble recovery and an interception before suffering the injury.

As far as his return, Overshown plans on playing in the "Monday Night Football" game against the Las Vegas Raiders on November 17.
