'Cowboys Hater' Stephen A. Smith Predicts Micah Parsons vs. Jerry Jones Ending

The Dallas Cowboys and Micah Parsons contract situation is the gift that keeps on giving, but in truth, we're tired of the circus.

Owner Jerry Jones appeared on Michael Irvin's YouTube Show to talk about the recent documentary, and as expected, talks shifted to Parsons and his contract.

Jerry stated several key things regarding the agent wanting to stick his nose into the negotiations, plus giving Micah the highest guaranteed money of any non-quarterback in football in talks back in March.

He also detailed that the agent, David Mulugheta, told the Cowboys, who sent over the contract details Micah and Jerry spoke of, to "shove it up their (expletive).''

So that is a lot of information to cycle through.

And after the episode concluded and people dissected it, Parsons, who has been very quiet on the contract talks, went to social media and made a post.

It was a picture of Micah 7:8, a passage from the Bible, reading "Even if I fall, I will rise; the Lord is my light."

And Parsons put a "peace'' emoji on top.

On Friday, another Jones interview, this one with ESPN's Stephen A. Smith, in which he said more of the same. But worth noting: Smith comes away from the visit with some positivity.

"I ultimately believe they're going to reach an accord,'' Smith said.

So, make of that what you will.

Nevertheless, Micah has since scrubbed all forms of Cowboys content off his social media channels (CeeDee Lamb also did this), as this long, drawn-out saga continues to roll on with no signs of slowing down.

With Week 1 fast approaching, we still believe (hope?) that Micah will be on the field, but with each passing day, and with Jerry and Micah both planting their flags in the ground, that belief (hope?) is beginning to fade.
