Cowboys HC Mike McCarthy: WR Michael Gallup 'looks to be 100 percent'

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Michael Gallup hasn't played since the team's Week 1 31-29 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. After over two months of battling through his calf injury that landed him on injured reserve, the 25-year-old is reportedly back to full strength.

It was reported earlier this week that Gallup is expected to return to action for Dallas' Week 10 matchup against the Atlanta Falcons.

Gallup was taken in the third round of the 2018 NFL Draft and in 16 games (eight starts) as a rookie, he compiled 33 receptions for 507 yards and two touchdowns. The Colorado St. product broke out in 2019 when he posted 66 catches for 1,107 yards and six touchdowns in just 14 games.

Gallup had another strong season in 2020 alongside then-rookie CeeDee Lamb and veteran Amari Cooper, as he recorded 59 receptions for 843 yards and five touchdowns. Gallup went for four catches and 36 yards on seven targets in Week 1 before going down with the calf injury.

The Cowboys and Falcons are scheduled to play at 1:00 p.m. ET on Sunday.
