We have heard all about the arrival of George Pickens and what it can do for the Dallas Cowboys offense with Dak Prescott and CeeDee Lamb, which will be a big storyline to watch in 2025.
But the truth is, Pickens coming to The Star will also help others get their bite of the apple as well. Yes, Dak and CeeDee loom as the ones who will benefit the most, given how badly help was needed for the pair.
However, there is another player who might just see an uptick in production in a year where he desperately needs it - tight end Jake Ferguson.
And Bleacher Report thinks with George now in the picture, the "big biscuit" could thrive.
"Ferguson was a Pro Bowler with a healthy and productive Prescott in 2023 and could break out in his fourth season," Bleacher Report writes. "Pickens' presence could help the 26-year-old tight end."
With Lamb roaming all over the field and Pickens out wide, those two are going to command the undivided attention of a defense because if either is left one-on-one, it's going to get ugly.
Which, in theory, leaves the middle of the field clear for Ferguson and Prescott to get to work. We saw in 2023 the potential Ferguson has, but injury and a nasty concussion hindered him last season.
Now, in a contract year, Ferguson needs to prove he is worthy of staying beyond 2025, and the arrival of Pickens might just make that a little easier, but there is a lot of work to be done.
The "big biscuit" needs a bounce-back year in the worst way possible, and Pickens might just help him do it.
