Cowboys’ Micah Parsons responds to Commanders WR with warning

The Dallas Cowboys extended their hot start in the 2023 NFL season in Week 2 with a 30-10 win over the New York Jets, a solid encore performance to a 40-0 road victory against the rival New York Giants in Week 1. The start to the season has Cowboys fans buzzing and NFL fans wondering just how high the ceiling could be for this team.

But the Cowboys have some company in the undefeated club of the NFC East, with both the Philadelphia Eagles and Washington Commanders moving to 2-0 with Week 2 victories. And after the Commanders rolled into Denver and upset the Broncos 35-33, wide receiver Jahan Dotson made sure he let social media take notice of the team’s unbeaten record.

Shortly after Dotson’s tweet, which can be seen below, Cowboys star Micah Parsons had a message of his own.

Parsons has (unsurprisingly) been a force to start the new season, picking up right where he left off in 2022, even while facing constant double and triple teams from opponents. Although Parsons is the focal point of opposing offenses and the player teams know they need to at least slow down, it hasn’t changed his impact.

In the Week 2 win over the Jets, Parsons totaled four total tackles, three for loss, two sacks, one fumble recovery and one pass defensed. The two sacks give him three total on the year and Parsons is trending quickly toward another All-Pro season. It’s safe to say that Parsons doesn’t even need to let opponents know he’s coming, because they’re all more than well-aware of it.
