The word Dallas Cowboys triplets brings back memories of Troy Aikman, Michael Irvin and Emmitt Smith.

However, it is now often brought up to describe three current-day players, and entering the 2025 season, CBS Sports' Jared Dubin has ranked all 32 teams' offensive "triplets."

The big question is, who are these triplets for Brian Schottenheimer?

Dubin has ranked the trio of Dak Prescott, CeeDee Lamb and Javonte Williams at No. 10.

"It's a testament to Prescott and Lamb that the Cowboys end up this high despite Williams being almost entirely unable to create yardage since tearing his ACL during his rookie season," Dubin wrote on Wednesday. "People have somehow already forgotten that Prescott made second-team All-Pro and finished second in NFL MVP voting in 2023.

"He's kind of an afterthought to a lot of people at this point. Which, to be clear, is crazy. And if Lamb isn't the best receiver in the league, it's only because Jefferson and Ja'Marr Chase also happen to be playing football at the same time as he is. It's kind of like how people viewed Chris Jones when Aaron Donald was active."

Prescott is among the top 10 quarterbacks, Lamb has a case to be made as one of the best receivers, and Williams is an unknown to Dallas at this point. But Dubin's ranking shows that the league thinks the pair of Prescott and Lamb can catapult the Cowboys' latest version of the triplets to No. 10.

The trio will be tasked with getting Schottenheimer's offense up and rolling as the Cowboys look to return to the postseason after missing out last year.

With a healthy Prescott and Lamb, along with a better run game than last season with Williams or Miles Sanders, Dallas' latest version of triplets might be enough to see Schotty's first year as head coach end on a positive note.

How positive? That is quite the conversation starter.
