Don't look now, but the Dallas Cowboys are suddenly making a playoff push.
The Cowboys showed their resiliency last weekend by erasing a 21-0 deficit to defeat the Philadelphia Eagles. Four days later, they flexed their muscles by defeating the Kansas City Chiefs on Thanksgiving. Dak Prescott was sharp against Steve Spagnuolo's defense, completing 27-of-39 pass attempts for 320 yards with two touchdowns and an interception.
Prescott admit that he can't recall a better two-game stretch in his Cowboys career.
"I'm not sure if I have, honestly. On top of where we've put ourselves right before these games and just the place that we're in of having to get these wins against two elite teams," Prescott said, via ESPN. "I mean the two teams that played in the Super Bowl last year. Last year's last year, but you're talking about two organizations that obviously know how to win, and we just beat them both in two great games."
Cowboys owner Jerry Jones added, "Under the circumstances, I don't remember a better two games back-to-back here at home."
According to The Athletic, the Cowboys have a 24% chance of making the playoffs. That number jumps up to 51% with a win over the Detroit Lions next Thursday.
Here's the remaining schedule for the Cowboys:
If the Cowboys are going to reach the playoffs, they'll have to win each game from this point out just to be safe.
We'll see if "America's Team" keeps its winning streak alive in Week 14.
