Dak Prescott officially not fined for spitting incident

As expected following the lack of a suspension similar to Jalen Carter's, the Cowboys quarterback wasn't fined for last week's spitting incident. Fans and media members briefly speculated about potential discipline for Prescott due to broadcast shots of the quarterback spitting before Carter. However, additional shots showed Prescott and Carter yards apart from each other. The quarterback explained he wasn't spitting at Carter.

It shouldn't be a surprise, but Saturday's fines not including Prescott confirm the suspicions going into the weekend.

Every Saturday, the NFL is announcing its league-wide fines and amounts for penalties committed the previous week.

"The fines collected are donated to the Professional Athletes Foundation to support Legends in need and the NFL Foundation to further support the health, safety and wellness of athletes across all levels, including youth football and the communities that support the game," reads the league's Operations website.
