Tony Pollard is not only the Cowboys' best running back but one of the NFL's finest and the key to a reemergence of a potent offense.

According to Pro Football Focus, Pollard has 573 yards on 75 touches, six touchdowns, and an 82.4 PFF grade over his past four games. He has an 89.6 PFF grade overall, third behind Josh Jacobs (Raiders) and Nick Chubb (Browns).
Chubb and Jacobs are among the league's top five in rushing yards. Pollard is just outside the top 10 at No. 11, but he has started fewer games (three) and has far fewer rushing attempts (118) than Chubb (174) and Jacobs (183). Pollard averages more yards per carry (5.9) than Jacobs (5.3) or Chubb (5.2).
"It took a while, but the Tony Pollard breakout season is upon us," PFF's Marcus Mosher wrote. "That has suddenly turned Dallas into one of the NFL's most dangerous offenses, one feeding off a player who is arguably the league's best right now. "
Is #Cowboys RB Tony Pollard the best RB in the league?

It's not crazy to say yes. https://t.co/GE1SNw2EYl
Over the past four games, the Cowboys averaged 35 points per game and 412.8 yards of offense, more than their offense last season, which was No. 1 in total yards and scoring.
The Cowboys still count on RB Ezekiel Elliott, WR CeeDee Lamb, and QB Dak Prescott, but it's hard to deny Pollard is the keystone, especially after Sunday's 40-3 victory against the Vikings. Pollard accounted for 189 yards of offense and scored two touchdowns.
