Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott and Sarah Jane Ramos shocked the NFL community last month when they called off their wedding.
Ramos has been by Prescott's side since 2023. They had two children, MJ Rose and Aurora, and seemed well on their way to having a destination wedding in Italy. However, they called off the ceremony in March. This decision was made after their bachelor and bachelorette parties.
“It is with heavy hearts that we privately inform our attendees that we have made the very difficult decision to cancel our wedding,” the couple wrote in an email to their wedding guests. “We deeply apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you, and we welcome your prayers.”
TMZ reported that Prescott and Ramos' relationship had been "rocky behind the scenes" for months. Apparently, Ramos made the final decision to call off the wedding.
Even though Prescott and Ramos are no longer together, the Pro Bowl quarterback hasn't paused construction on his new property in Texas.
"New photos obtained by the California Post show construction on the Dallas Cowboys star’s mega-mansion in Prosper is moving full-steam ahead, despite the quarterback’s recent breakup with Sarah Jane Ramos," a report from Page Six states. "Crews were seen at the site as recently as last Friday, hammering nails and installing panes of glass on a residence that looks more like a compound than a house."
It's unclear what truly led to Prescott and Ramos parting ways. Roughly a month ago, there were rumors about “ongoing infidelity issues” for them.
“Our source says Ramos and the Dallas Cowboys quarterback stayed behind after their friends left, at which point she found out that Prescott was allegedly using incognito social media profiles to send inappropriate messages to multiple women and ex-flings,” an insider for Page Six wrote.
According to multiple reports, Prescott and Ramos are focused on co-parenting their two children. That could be a big reason why they haven't said much about their sudden breakup.
