The Dallas Cowboys enter Week 7 and a game against the Washington Commanders with a 2-3-1 record.
The Cowboys lost to the Carolina Panthers in Week 6, 30-27, so they are trying to get their third win of the season while facing an NFC East rival.
On Friday, the team got some bad news as cornerback Trevon Diggs was ruled out due to a concussion following an accident at his house.
On the other hand, the hope is that star wide receiver CeeDee Lamb will be able to return.
Lamb hasn't played since Week 3, when he suffered an ankle injury in a loss to the Chicago Bears.
However, Lamb logged limited practice time the last two days with the expectation that he would return for the game.
On Friday, the Cowboys released the official injury report, and Lamb was a full participant in practice, which is good news for the Cowboys and quarterback Dak Prescott.

Tom Pelissero of NFL Network also confirmed that Lamb will play.
"WR CeeDee Lamb was a full participant in practice today, is officially off the injury report and will return Sunday vs. Washington," Pelissero wrote.

Lamb has 16 catches for 222 yards without a touchdown this season.
However, he had 101 receptions for 1,194 yards with six scores in 2024 and 135 catches for 1,749 yards and 12 scores in 2023, so he is a favorite target for Prescott.
The Cowboys face the Commanders (3-3) on Sunday at 4:25 p.m. ET on Fox.
