Jalen Carter was ejected from the Philadelphia Eagles’ game against the Dallas Cowboys after he spat on Dak Prescott.
Prescott provided some details on the situation after the game and said Carter was attempting to troll the Cowboys’ rookie offensive lineman, Tyler Booker, early in the game before the incident occurred.
“He was tolling, I guess you could say, trying to mess with Tyler Booker,” Prescott said. “I was just looking at him. I was right here about the two linemen, and I guess I needed to spit, and I wasn’t gonna spit on my linemen. I just spit ahead… And he asked, or he goes, you trying to spit on me? At that point, I mean, I felt like, like, oh, like he was insulting me. I wouldn’t spit on somebody. I’m damn sure not trying to spit on you. Like, we’re about to play a game, wondering why you are trying to mess with the rookie.”
The Cowboys drafted Booker in the first round out of Alabama. The former Crimson Tide offensive lineman had a great first game. He gave up zero sacks against a talented Eagles’ defensive front.
