After another injury plagued season in 2024, it's been a long road back for Dak Prescott.
The Cowboys QB tore his hamstring off the bone in Week 9 against the Falcons — a little over two months removed from becoming the highest-paid player in NFL history.
Prescott underwent season-ending surgery just 10 days later before jumping into his rehab immediately so he could be ready to lead the Cowboys in '25. And it sounds like it paid off according to the Pro Bowler's latest comments.
Speaking to the media on Tuesday, Dak revealed that he "pretty much can do it all" and "feels good" going into Year 10.
"Yeah, I think I'm just not cleared for contact, which we've got a while for that anyways. Yeah, I'm out there in the team activities. Feel good. Just trying to stay that way. Yeah, feeling great," Prescott said, via ESPN.com.
Some have questioned whether or not Dallas' triggerman is actually as healthy as he says he is. But Dak maintains that he's right on schedule to rejoin the Cowboys' offense this fall.
"People say a lot of things about me, man," Prescott explained. "I just show up and control what I can control [to get] healthy. Trying to stay healthy. Feels good. Yeah, just trying to push the energy and make sure I continue to get better."
"Am I behind? No. Left the season early. I mean [expletive], I was hurt," the veteran continued. "My offseason started way earlier. Sorry for the language, but my offseason started way earlier, so that's really essentially why I'm ahead, on top of ... working with this training staff."
Dak's side of the ball has seen quite a bit of change since he last played after the franchise traded for George Pickens and promoted Brian Schottenheimer to head coach.
We'll see if he can repeat the success he had with his former OC at the helm after finishing second in MVP voting in 2023.
