All eyes were on Micah Parsons for Sunday night’s clash between the Green Bay Packers and the Dallas Cowboys. This was the two-time All-Pro linebacker’s first game back at AT&T Stadium following his offseason departure from Dallas.

Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott was not going to let the Parsons narrative overshadow him, though. The three-time Pro Bowl QB made sure to make his impact on the contest as well, with Prescott scoring two touchdowns late in the first half to give Dallas its first lead.

Prescott scored on a two-yard run with 41 seconds remaining in the second quarter. It didn’t take long for the 32-year-old to log his first passing touchdown of the night, via a 15-yard TD pass to George Pickens with just nine seconds left in the half.

Not only did Prescott’s two TDs give Dallas a 16-13 lead, but it also led to a bit of history for the former Mississippi State star.

The Cowboys took to social media to announce Prescott’s latest feat.

“Tonight marked Dak Prescott’s 22nd career game with a passing and rushing touchdown, the most in Cowboys history and tied for third among NFL quarterbacks since 2016, trailing only Josh Allen (44 games) and Jalen Hurts (27 games),” Dallas Cowboys Public Relations posted on X.

Prescott made even more franchise history in the third quarter by scoring his second TD pass of the evening in the third quarter.

"With that touchdown pass to Jake Ferguson, Dak Prescott recorded his 69th career multi-passing touchdown game. Only Tony Romo (79 games) has more multi-touchdown games in franchise history," Dallas Cowboys Public Relations' post read.

2025 is Prescott’s 10th season with the Cowboys, and the fact that he was able to make history again speaks volumes about his immense impact on the franchise. Prescott continues to build on his legacy in Dallas, establishing himself as one of the top quarterbacks in Cowboys history.

More importantly, Prescott would like to mark his historic night with a win. Dallas still has its work cut out for it, though, as it holds a slim 23-20 lead over the Packers heading into the final frame, as of writing.
