Dan Campbell just added another locker room speech to his growing legend

Dan Campbell is not known for having a chill postgame victory speech. He's grown infamous for holding quite impassioned ones in the Detroit Lions' locker room after wins, and for giving a great platform to the players who earn game balls at the end of those contests.

For the Lions' huge win over the Baltimore Ravens in Week 3, on the road, and in primetime, Campbell obviously had to stick to his guns and give us another legendary speech.

Campbell told the team after the game:

"Alright, men, that's a great win. We did exactly what we said we needed to do. Played complementary freakin' football, man. When we needed it most, every [expletive] phase picked up the slack, man. That's how you win games against teams like that, man. And now you know what the [expletive] barometer is like in the AFC. That's a great [expletive] win."

Detroit truly controlled every aspect of this contest. They sacked Lamar Jackson seven times, forced a third fumble on Derrick Henry, - his third in three games - and managed to get off some major trickery on Baltimore's typically tight defense. They were at a loss for words about Detroit's ability to get so much on them on the ground and in the air.

The game balls from this contest went to Al-Quadin Muhammad and David Montgomery, who were hugely impactful on both sides of the field. Muhammad, in his first start on the D-line this season, had 2.5 sacks, four total tackles, and numerous pressures on Jackson in the pocket. Montgomery had multiple huge gains for Detroit and two rushing touchdowns.

Other standouts included Aidan Hutchinson, who managed to get that fumble on Henry with a smooth punchout of the football, Amon-Ra St. Brown, who had a nice touchdown on the night that lifted him to third overall on the Lions' all-time receiving touchdown list, and the entire Detroit O-line. Their PFF grades from the contest speak for themselves.

After almost every single pundit and analyst picked the Ravens to beat the Lions during primetime, and Detroit decided to instead remind them all that they're still the same team from 2024 that went undefeated for much of the season. This was a major win over an AFC team that they could end up seeing in the Super Bowl this year, and one that proved that they can handle even the most talented of quarterbacks.
