Davante Adams’ IG post may fuel Packers reunion speculations

No matter where he goes, Davante Adams will always be a Green Bay Packers legend in the eyes of many football fans.

That’s even when he’s away from the football field and enjoying a round of golf.

The former Packers star wide receiver recently shared an Instagram Story showing him playing golf, a favorite pastime of the wideout when he’s not working on the field.

The former Fresno State Bulldogs star and current Los Angeles Rams wide receiver recently shared a photo showing him playing golf, which he always does.

However, this caught people’s attention, especially those who want to see Adams back in Titletown.

Adams was seen wearing a pair of shoes donning Green Bay colors, while also sporting a green cap.

Adams probably did not do it on purpose, and it could just be nothing more than a random choice by the six-time Pro Bowler, but fans can’t be blamed as well for linking that to a possible reunion between the 33-year-old wideout and Green Bay.

Rams explored a possible Davante Adams trade

Los Angeles head coach Sean McVay admitted in March that the Rams kicked the tires on trading Adams, but opted to keep the wide receiver in the fold.

“If we felt like it was best for our team, we would have done that,” McVay said, via Sarah Barshop of ESPN. “But we didn’t think it was best for our team.”

Added McVay: “We really talked about some different avenues of onboarding other players and how it might affect Davante,” McVay said.

Adams signed a two-year deal worth $44 million with the Rams in 2025. In his first season with Los Angeles, Adams had 789 receiving yards and led the league with 14 touchdown receptions on 60 receptions and 114 targets.
