Deion Sanders Jr. Sends Four-Word Message After Shedeur's Minicamp Performance

Cleveland Browns mandatory minicamp started on Tuesday with the continuation of a four-way QB battle between Joe Flacco, Kenny Pickett, Dillon Gabriel and Shedeur Sanders. The two vets and two rookies will look to fix Cleveland's ongoing problems under center.

As expected, all eyes were on Sanders as he prepares for an opportunity to run the first team offense at some point down the line. The 'Grown' QB looked great for his first time out in a couple of weeks. He went 10-of-12 with two touchdowns in camp on Tuesday, which caught the attention of Deion Sanders Jr.

Shedeur's oldest brother took to X (Formerly Twitter) with word of encouragement.

"It's a beautiful thing," Bucky wrote.

While the media has speculated about his rep count, Sanders isn't focused on that right now.

"My goal is to be the best teammate and to be as positive as I can be," Sanders said after practice. "I view things as 'I've got time.' I've got time to be able to grow and mature, and to understand the ins and outs of the defenses, and to get a good insight from the vets in the room.

"I look at it as a plus, like I've got time to really have a great understanding, and whenever it's time for me to play, it's time for me to play. I'm not looking too far in the future, I'm looking at every day in practice... I'm focused on the small things, and over time, the big things will happen."

The fifth-round pick is looking forward to the opportunity in front of him and not rushing the process.

“When it’s time for me to play, it’s time for me to play," Sanders added. "But I’m not looking too far into the future… I’m focused on the small things. And over time, big things will happen.”

Sanders and the Browns continue with Day 2 of minicamp on Wednesday outside of Cleveland.
