DeMarcus Lawrence and Micah Parsons used to be teammates during their days with the Dallas Cowboys, but that doesn’t mean they’re friendly to each other these days. The Green Bay Packers star pass rusher Parsons had a sizzling comment on Lawrence’s statement on the Cowboys after the latter signed with the Seattle Seahawks in March 2025.
Lawrence responded to Parsons with a blunt rebuttal: “Calling me a clown won’t change the fact that I told the truth. Maybe if you spent less time tweeting and more time winning, I wouldn’t have left.”
Well, that exchange is getting some attention again, thanks to Lawrence and the Seahawks beating the Los Angeles Rams in the NFC Championship game at Lumen Field in Seattle on Sunday.

Lawrence spent his first 11 seasons in the NFL with the Cowboys, but Dallas never reached the Super Bowl during his time in Arlington.
Now, he and the Seahawks are just a win away from raising the Vince Lombardi Trophy, as Seattle is about to lock horns with Drake Maye and the New England Patriots at Super Bowl LX on Feb. 8 at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California.
As for Parsons and the Packers, they will have to wait for the 2026 NFL season to give it another shot.
They were widely considered as a legitimate contender to win the Super Bowl in the 2025 NFL season, especially after Green Bay acquired Parsons from the Cowboys in a huge trade in August, but the team ultimately fell short of the goal, having been knocked out of the playoffs by the Chicago Bears in the NFC Wild Card Round.
