Denver Broncos fan unveils incredible Halloween decorations commemorating 70-20 loss to Miami

Unfortunately for the Broncos, things have continued to spiral since the loss to Miami. After picking up a 31-28 come from behind win over the then winless Chicago Bears in Week 4, Denver has dropped back-to-back games.

The latest loss came in Week 6 against the Kansas City Chiefs — a 19-8 defeat on “Thursday Night Football.” Once again, the story was Denver’s inability to move the ball on offense. The Broncos racked up just 197 yards of offense — a measly 82 coming from quarterback Russell Wilson.

Broncos fall further behind in AFC West standings

Now 1-5 and at the bottom of the AFC West, the Broncos appear to have hit rock bottom. Head coach Sean Payton, however, wasn’t discouraged by their performance against the reigning Super Bowl champions.

“I told our players, I’m disappointed, but … I’m not discouraged,” Payton said, via the team’s website. “I thought they played hard. Defensively, particularly, we did a great job. Our red-zone defense was outstanding. Obviously, offensively we struggled throwing the ball. Our red-zone numbers were poor. The turnovers — against a team like this, it’s going to be tough to win. And yet, we were still in it going into the fourth quarter.

“Sometimes you don’t know how a game’s going to unfold. I was happy it was unfolding the way it was, though, relative to time, scoring. … Tonight was a game where we certainly played well enough defensively, but offensively, the running game worked. I thought we blocked them well. From a third-down perspective, keeping drives going, we struggled to get anything until really late in the game.”
