The Denver Broncos are getting set to play the Baltimore Ravens, and are currently one of the hottest teams in the NFL. They have won five of their last six after a huge win over the Carolina Panthers, are are looking to get a big-time win over one of the best teams in the league in Baltimore.

But, while they are resting and preparing for that game, one of their role players got some horrible news delivered to him.

According to the NFL's Gameday Accountability site, Broncos tight end Lucas Krull, a role player on the team, has been fined a very large amount of money. And, while you may think this is pocket change, or chump change for him and not for guys like us, think again.

Lucas Krull is a third-year player who played for the New Orleans Saints a few years ago and has played in four games for the Broncos this season. He is also a tight end on this very bad offense that is looking to help improve things on that side of the ball.

What won't be improving on Saturday, is his bank account.

Krull was fined $5,083 for an unnecessary roughness call that was a blindside block in the second quarter around the 10-minute mark.

The NFL is really cracking down on fines this year, as we have seen some way bigger than this one to guys who certainly would rather not lose this much money. Krull will have to pay, literally, for his blindside block.

After this game, the Broncos will take on the Kansas City Chiefs, Atlanta Falcons, and then the Las Vegas Raiders.
