Deshaun Watson hasn’t had the best time of late. Browns fans around the world have turned against him, especially after he was named QB1.
This has led to Watson calling fans out on social media, leading to some tense exchanges. It’s reached a point where all Browns media can talk about is his future under center.
The only way he can probably get out of this situation is by putting on some stellar performances. However, if he fails, it could lead to an ugly scene, and sports commentator John Fanta has warned him of the same.
“If they start 0-2, and Watson is what he’s been, is there any world where he is starting Week 3? Because if there is one, it’s going to be one of the ugliest scenes in sports history.”

No matter how one looks at it, the entire situation surrounding the QB position in Cleveland is a mess. Hopefully, it can be resolved before the start of the new season or the Browns maybe in for a rough ride.
The man who decided to put Deshaun Watson in the QB1 position is none other than HC Todd Monken. It was a decision that, as mentioned earlier, led to him getting a lot of flack.
But now, Monken has added fuel to the fire. How? Well, fans will be shocked to learn that the former Ravens OC hasn’t watched any of the 19 games Watson has played with the Browns.
It certainly is an unexpected revelation. But, for the most part neither Monken nor Watson seem bothered by it. That being said, it will be interesting to see how the fans react in the coming days.
