It was just reported by Adam Schefter that the Miami Dolphins plan on re-signing OLB Quinton Bell to a one-year, 1.5 million dollar deal. This would be the fourth Dolphin to be resigned this offseason. Bell started as a seventh-round pick in 2019 by the Las Vegas Raiders.

The Prairie View A&M Alumni was released by the Raiders in October of that year, and he got his first real NFL spot when he made the Tampa Bay Buccaneers practice squad in 2020. He would appear in five games that season.
He then did not make another NFL roster until 2022, when he signed with the Atlanta Falcons and appeared in four games, recording three tackles and one tackle for loss. Bell would join the Dolphins practice squad in 2023 and then make the 53-man roster in 2024, where he played all 17 games.
Bell had 27 tackles for loss, one forced fumble, one pass deflection, and one sack this past year. Bell is great at stopping the run but also plays really good coverage for his size. Bell is an athletic 6'4, 225 pounds, and he made the most of the opportunities when given the chance.
Bell got to start three games for the Dolphins this past year. From jumping practice squads to starting in the NFL, Bell shows the grit, focus, and determination required to play in the league, and it is a big reason that he is going to be with the organization for another year.
Bell is 28 years old and may have his best football ahead of him.
