BREAKING: Dolphins Interviewing Klint Kubiak Today
NFL Insider Jordan Schultz reports the Miami Dolphins are interviewing Seattle Seahawks offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak today for their open head coaching position.
Kubiak is one of the hottest head coaching candidates on the market this hiring cycle and is expected to get a head coaching position this offseason.
Miami can interview him now because Seattle is on a bye this week.
Kubiak is also of interest for the Arizona, Baltimore, NY Giants, and LV Raiders openings at this time.
Kubiak is 38 years old and is a former safety from Colorado St.
He is the son of Gary Kubiak a former NFL player and head coach wtih the Denver Broncos and Houston Texans.
He started his coaching career at Texas A&M in 2008 and was an NFL assistant by 2013.
He has spent time with the Broncos, Vikings, 49ers, and Saints, as well as Seattle now.
He has been an offensive coordinator with the Vikings and is currently with Seattle.

Seattle’s offense this season was ranked 3rd overall in points scored. Top 10 in Total offense and passing offense. And ranked 11th in rushing offense.
All with Sam Darnold at quarterback.
There are numerous other names Miami is expected to have interest in as well.
The clubhouse leader appears to be Jeff Hafley, the current Green Bay Packers defensive coordinator and former Boston College head coach.
He is one of the red-hot assistant coaches this hiring cycle, and many expect him to get a job as a head coach.
Boston College is a tough place to win, and during his four years there as head coach, he led them to 3 bowl games. His overall record there was under .500, but that is more about the situation than him.
His first season as the Packers’ DC in 2024 went really well. The Packers’ defense ranked highly in many categories during the 2024 season, finishing 3rd in points allowed, 6th in points per drive, 4th in EPA, and 5th in total defense. And they created the 3rd highest rate of turnovers as well.
He is only 46 years old, so he can relate to the younger players and the modern game. Will have to have a proven, experienced offensive coordinator on his staff to round it out.
The other name to keep an eye on is Packers’ current head coach Matt LaFleur, who is up for a contract extension, and the Packers may not want to break the bank for him. If they do not, they may “part ways” with him, and we know Stephen Ross will break the bank for the right head coach.
Because of his experience as a head coach in the NFL, this would be a slam dunk. If the Packers lose tonight, this may move fast. If they win and play next week, Miami may have to wait a bit.
Mike McCarthy is another name to keep in mind since he was in Green Bay when Sullivan was.
62 games OVER .500 with an over .600 winning percentage.. A lot of division titles and playoff appearances.
That is the kind of professionalism, experience, and maturity Miami needs right now at head coach.
After the disaster that was Brian Flores and then Mike McDaniel, someone who is a no-nonsense football guy to right the ship, sign me up.
The wild card name to keep an eye on, Anthony Campanile, former Dolphins linebackers coach who gave the F’ bomb tirad on Hard Knocks a few years back.
Spent one season in Green Bay as the linebackers coach and run game coordinator, and is now the defensive coordinator with the Jaguars, doing amazing things with that unit this year.
Many NFL Insiders say he may be a serious candidate for the Miami head-coaching job.
And Dianna Russini has reported this morning that Miami has reached out officially to John Harbaugh.
