Dolphins Sign Punter Seth Vernon & LS Tucker Addington
The Dolphins are replacing punter Jake Bailey with Seeth Vernon, a UFL punter who has spent some training camps with the Falcons, Buccaneers, and Vikings.
Vernon played his college ball at Portland St, and went undrafted and was signed by the Falcons.
He didn’t make the team, and has never played in an NFL game, but has been on three NFL teams in training camps.
He punted in the UFL last season for the Michigan Panthers, punting 23 times for a 45.4-yard average with eight punts landing inside the 20-yard line.
Seth Vernon, who averaged 45.4 yards per punt for the UFL’s Michigan Panthers last season, becomes the Dolphins’ 21st signing of the past week. He had brief stints (but no regular season games) with 3 NFL teams after punting at Portland State.

Miami also signed Long Snapper Tucker Addington on Friday.
Addington was one of many long snappers signed to the Dolphins’ practice squad in 2024 when Blake Ferguson was on IR. He would be elevated the maximum number of times for 3 games before not being used again.
The previous Dolphins long snapper, Joe Cardona, signed with the Rams earlier this week.
