Dolphins star WR puts Chiefs fans on notice

Tyreek Hill used to receive standing ovations at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium, but that likely won’t be the case when Hill’s Miami Dolphins visit the Kansas City Chiefs in 2023.

During a recent interview with 810 WHB-AM, Hill had a simple yet sharp message for Chiefs fans about his return to the city where he won a Super Bowl and was named to three First-Team All-Pro and six Pro Bowl teams.

“Chiefs Kingdom, when the Miami Dolphins come to Arrowhead Stadium this year, guess what we’re going to do,” Hill said. “I hate to say it, man. I hate to throw up the peace sign against y’all. I hate to do it. But guess what: I’m going to be y’all’s worst enemy that day. I’m going to be y’all worst enemy that day.”

Hill, of course, is referencing the peace sign he makes to taunt defenders as he sprints away from them on long touchdown plays.

The verbal jabs didn’t just end there. Hill also advised head coach Andy Reid and the Chiefs coaching staff to change up the playbook because Hill remember it inside and out after spending six seasons in Kansas City, where he totaled 479 receptions, 6,630 receiving yards and 56 touchdown receptions.

“You better change the signals,” he joked. “I know every signal y’all got.”

Hill’s warnings appear to be all in good fun, however. The 29-year-old wideout shared that he was rooting for his former team in Super Bowl LVII against the Philadelphia Eagles.

“It felt good to watch the boys win,” Hill added. “I was watching the Super Bowl, and I was just real happy for my guys. Even though I’m not a part of it, it felt like I was a part of it.”
