Travis Kelce continues to build an impressive list of accomplishments beyond the football field, and his mother, Donna Kelce, is thrilled about his latest venture.
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end recently posted a video on Instagram highlighting his new position as a brand ambassador and investor for Six Flags. In the footage, Kelce excitedly opens a special delivery from the theme park giant that featured a prestigious gold pass providing unlimited entry to all of its locations across the country.
“The perks of the new job are pretty good,” Kelce noted in the post.
The update quickly drew a wave of reactions from supporters, but one official reply from the company captured extra attention.
“Get your Season Pass and come ride with us,” Six Flags wrote in the caption.
Donna Kelce did not hesitate to express her enthusiasm upon seeing the announcement of her son’s fresh opportunity.
“Love your shirt!!! Can’t wait to ride!!! Lots of great memories…” she commented on the Instagram post.
Her heartfelt response drew immediate notice from fans who have grown accustomed to Donna’s consistent and energetic encouragement for both Travis and his brother Jason throughout their professional journeys.
In a recent conversation with People magazine, Donna shared insights into how she nurtures strong bonds with her children. She emphasized the importance of making the effort to reach out rather than waiting for them to come to her.
“I’ve been very fortunate because I worked most of my life to be able to travel,” Donna told the outlet.
She continued, “That’s the one thing I try as much as I can without being a pest. I try to show up.”
The mother of two also offered straightforward advice for other grandparents hoping to stay connected with their families.
“If you want to see your kids, go visit them. Quit telling them, ‘Why don’t you come to my house?’ No, go visit.”
This latest collaboration with Six Flags marks yet another significant step in Kelce’s expanding business interests. Earlier in the year, he revealed his involvement in an investment deal that brought together Six Flags and the hedge fund Jana Partners. During that announcement, the athlete spoke warmly about his lifelong fondness for amusement parks and cherished family trips to them.
Even as Kelce explores new professional horizons off the gridiron, his commitment to football stays front and center. The Chiefs recently secured the experienced tight end with a one-year agreement, confirming his return for a 14th campaign in the league.
Following an extended period of uncertainty regarding his playing future, Kelce chose to suit up for at least one additional season. He aims to help guide the Chiefs toward another strong run and Super Bowl contention after the team fell short of the postseason in the previous year.
