Drew Rosenhaus Predicts Who Miami Will Select at No. 11 Overall

History suggests that the Miami Dolphins have a very consequential decision looming with the No. 11 overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft. The pick marks their highest selection since the year 2021, and one NFL agent with deep ties to the Dolphins thinks they will use that all-important pick on a cornerback.

Drew Rosenhaus — the agent of former Dolphins star wide receiver Tyreek Hill — recently predicted that they will select none other than standout cornerback Mansoor Delane.

Rosenhaus’ client, Hill, is on the heels of a rollercoaster of a four-season tenure playing for the Dolphins. He spent the first half of his Dolphins tenure as one of the elite wideouts in the game, posting back-to-back seasons with 1,700-plus receiving yards in 2022 and 2023. But the back half of his time in Miami was marred by off-the-field drama, injuries, and a decline in play, and the team released him earlier this year in a flurry of roster moves.

While Hill is rightfully a polarizing figure among Dolphins fans, if you put Rosenhaus’s connection to him aside and look at his prediction objectively, it’s realistic and makes quite a bit of sense for Miami.

The cornerback position is one of the biggest holes on a Miami team that, unfortunately, has room for improvement in a lot of areas, and Delane has been linked to the Dolphins at the No. 11 overall pick in recent mock drafts. Delane showed off a skill set as a senior that suggests he could be a strong member of Miami’s starting secondary from the get-go, as he totaled 45 tackles and defended 11 passes with LSU in 2025.

It remains to be seen if Rosenhaus’ prediction about the Dolphins drafting Delane with their first pick will come to fruition, but that appears to be a real possibility. The first round of the draft is scheduled for Thursday night.
