Dynasty Watch – Waiver Wire & Trade Targets Week 7 (Dynasty/IDP)
Stephen Lew-Imagn Images

Looking for under-the-radar Dynasty gems or IDP stashes? We've got some speculative pickups and trade targets that could help you build for the future. Let’s get into it!

QB Spencer Rattler

From Oklahoma starter to South Carolina standout, Spencer Rattler has had quite the journey. After being displaced by Caleb Williams, he had ups and downs in college but showed enough talent to get drafted. With Carr out, Rattler got the start and didn’t look lost. While he's QB3, he looked solid in his debut. He’s a developmental player, likely a year or two away, but there's some definite upside. If you can snag him, he’s worth a long-term stash.

RB Sean Tucker

Undrafted out of Syracuse, Sean Tucker exploded with White out and outperformed Bucky Irving last week. It's hard to predict what happens next, but Tucker looked impressive. He’s likely sitting on the waiver wire in most leagues, but the price may be rising fast. Is he worth the bidding war? Maybe, but the potential is there for a long-term investment.

WR Bub Means

Bub Means found some chemistry with Rattler last week. Although he’s deep on the depth chart, this 5th-round pick out of Pitt could be worth a flyer, especially in deeper dynasty leagues. Keep an eye on him as the season unfolds.

WR Kayshon Boutte

Boutte’s rookie year was a non-factor, but the 2nd-year wideout out of LSU showed signs of life last week with Maye at the helm, posting 3 catches for 59 yards and a TD. A former 6th-round pick, Boutte fell hard in the draft due to some pre-draft issues, but the raw talent was always there. He’s a bit of a wild card, but if he finds his stride, he could be a sneaky addition to your roster.

TE Grant Calcaterra

With Goedert nursing a hamstring injury, Grant Calcaterra has stepped up. The 3rd-year player had a decent outing in Goedert’s absence and may continue to start for a few weeks. TE options have been thin this season, so if you’re struggling at the position, Calcaterra might be a serviceable short-term fill-in.

IDP LB Damone Clark

With Eric Kendricks sidelined due to a calf injury, Damone Clark stepped in and led the team in tackles. Once Kendricks returns, Clark will likely head back to the bench, but the 3rd-year player showed he can deliver when called upon. He’s a solid long-term investment for IDP managers looking to build linebacker depth.

Grab these players now and set your dynasty squad up for future success!
