The Philadelphia Eagles have an NFC East showdown in Week 12, taking on the Dallas Cowboys. They're looking to stay hot after defeating the Detroit Lions 16-9 and are on a four-game winning streak.
It was a defensive battle against the Lions, with linebacker Jaelan Phillips putting together another strong performance. He finished the game with five tackles, one sack and one tackle for loss.
He's been a spark plug for Philadelphia's defense since being acquired via trade from the Miami Dolphins on Nov. 3. At 8-2, the Eagles are first in the NFC East and on track to win the division for the second straight season.
Unfortunately, on Wednesday, the Eagles announced their first injury report for Week 12. It revealed Phillips was listed as a limited participant because of a shoulder injury.
In just two games with Philadelphia, the linebacker has accumulated 11 tackles, two tackles for loss, one sack, four quarterback hits, five pressures, one fumble recovery and three quarterback knockdowns.

Head coach Nick Sirianni has been impressed with Phillips, saying, "He plays with a great physicality. He plays with a great motor. Something that when we talk about what tough means, it's mental, physical and relentless effort," according to NJ.com's Cayden Steele.
The Cowboys have excelled at protecting the quarterback this season. Their 16 sacks allowed are tied for the fifth fewest in the NFL. Having every pass rusher ready is crucial for the Eagles' chances of winning.
Dallas' offense as a whole is extremely explosive, ranking second in points per game (29.6). Being able to disrupt quarterback Dak Prescott in the pocket could slow the unit down.
Philadelphia still has two more practices before officially announcing Phillips' game status on Friday. Whether or not he can improve to a full participant will be a key indicator of his ability to play.
Kickoff is Sunday at 4:25 p.m. ET at AT&T Stadium, airing on Fox.
