Eagles announce Saquon Barkley injury update vs. Titans

The Philadelphia Eagles are coming off a thrilling 24-22 win over the Washington Commanders in Week 1

In Week 2, the Eagles flew to Nashville to take on the Tennessee Titans, and the Titans started things off with a 1-yard Cam Ward rushing touchdown with just over four minutes left in the first quarter.

In the first quarter, Eagles star running back Saquon Barkley appeared to suffer an injury, and he proceeded to leave the game.

Shortly after, the team announced Barkley was questionable to return due to a stinger.

How Saquon Barkley's absence affects the Eagles

Barkley went to the medical tent and then to the locker room. He then returned to the sidelines with his helmet on, but he was also seen wearing a neck collar.

Here was the play where Barkley suffered the injury.

Barkley is coming off a 15-carry, 83-yard outing in Week 1, and he had just one carry on Sunday before leaving with the injury.

At the start of the second quarter, Tank Bigsby had eight carries for 26 yards and a touchdown, and Will Shipley added four carries for 16 yards. The Bigsby touchdown came just minutes after Barkley returned to the sidelines, so it remains to be seen whether he returns to the game.
