There are a few players that might have Philadelphia Eagles fans worried about playing in Week 1 against the Dallas Cowboys, but it appears that it might be looking good for Philly.
Eagles' left guard Landon Dickerson has been dealing with his meniscus injury, which he suffered a few weeks ago, as he has been back at practice since last Wednesday. That trend continued on Sunday, with him wearing a compression sleeve on his right leg, and he looks to be in line to start in Week 1.
Wide receiver A.J. Brown has been in and out throughout camp with a hamstring injury, but also was back at practice on Wednesday. Brown spoke with the media after practice, offering an incredible two-word response on whether he would play against the Cowboys.
“Hell yeah.”
The one question mark was rookie second-round safety Andrew Mukuba, who suffered a hamstring injury two weeks ago. For the first time since then, Mukuba was practicing. This is a crucial first step to getting back on the field.
Philly's only concern is back quarterback Tanner McKee's thumb injury and how he would hold up. He was limited on Sunday, as it was Sam Howell taking all the second-team snaps.
#Eagles No. 2 QB Tanner McKee (fractured thumb on right hand) is out here at practice, but he doesn’t have his helmet. Doing some individual drills, tho.

Could be Sam Howell backup up Jalen Hurts vs. the Cowboys on Thursday night.
These are three key players on the Eagles' path to repeating as Super Bowl champions, including Brown, Dickerson, and Mukuba. Brown and Dickerson are veteran offensive players who have helped lead a top-10 unit over the last few seasons.
There might be a little more concern with Dickerson and the percentage of his health after getting a procedure a few weeks ago. Brett Toth had been filling in for him before returning, but if he reaggravates that injury, it could be worse for him.
Mukuba's position is interesting as the Eagles try to figure out whether he will start or if Sydney Brown will. Many Eagles fans have been pulling for Mukuba to start after his pick-six and fumble recovery in the preseason game against the Cleveland Browns.
McKee's injury will be one to monitor throughout the next few weeks, as it was expected that Howell would be the backup after his trade from the Minnesota Vikings. At least the Eagles have an experienced quarterback with nearly 20 starts to his resume.
With the Eagles appearing to be at full strength outside of linebacker Nakobe Dean, Thursday's showdown is looking really good for the Birds.
