All it took was $100,000 to get Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce to say "Go Birds" on his New Heights podcast with his brother and Philadelphia Eagles center, Jason Kelce.
On the Kelce brother's latest podcast episode, they were joined by It’s Always Sunny cast members Rob McElhenney and Kaitlin Olson.
Knowing every penny went to the Eagles Autism Foundation, McElhenney spent the last few weeks bidding on the Princess Diana Eagles letterman jacket replica that had been worn and signed by Jason Kelce's better half, Kylie Kelce.
But every time McElhenney would place a bid, someone would follow up with a larger bid.
This kept happening until he learned through a text message calling him a "bozo" that it was his wife, Kaitlin Olson, who had been outbidding him.
“We live in the same house. This is a foundation that’s important to both of us. The jacket looks great on your wife and he mentions nothing about it. I'm like 'What are you doing?' Moron,” Olson said calling out McElhenney's lack of communication skills.
McEhenney had initially wanted his final bid to be $62,000 in honor of his favorite Eagles player (Jason Kelce, No. 62).
But then he and Olson concluded that $100,000 was a "good number."
With that generous bid, Olson won the vintage Eagles jacket and Travis Kelce joined the gang in saying, "Go Birds."
