Eagles injury report: Starter's status is questionable, another is ruled out

Think of this as one of those good news vs. bad news scenarios. DeVonta Smith practiced for a second straight day on Friday. Unfortunately, however, we don't know anything more about his status for Sunday's game than we did hours ago. Well... Maybe that isn't totally true. After seeing him miss the workout session on Wednesday, it was good to see him get two days of work in. We knew then what we always knew. As Nick Sirianni would say, "we'd get an injury report here a little later." Darius Slay wasn't seen on the field. We knew what that meant. His chances of playing on Sunday vs. the Baltimore Ravens were slim. Like a Black Friday gift, we stayed glued to our devices. Shortly before 4 pm EST, we were given some answers. Philly announced the status of several of their players on Friday. As expected, Darius Slay will remain in concussion protocol and sit Week 13's game out.
