Eagles Make 2 Roster Moves After Key Injuries

It hasn't taken Philadelphia Eagles general manager Howie Roseman long to look for replacements following Brandon Graham's season-ending triceps injury.

Philadelphia's longest-tenured player in franchise history suffered the injury late in the team's 37-20 victory over the Los Angeles Rams. Over 48 hours later, the Eagles have made roster moves to begin to find Graham's replacement for the remainder of the season.

In a series of roster moves, the Eagles claimed edge rusher Charles Harris from the Carolina Panthers and officially signed former Cowboys and Commanders edge defender KJ Henry to the practice squad.

In a corresponding set of roster moves, Philadelphia also released defensive tackle Siaki Ika and receiver Marcus Rosemy-Jacksaint from the Practice Squad.

Philadelphia still has a roster spot available after placing Graham on injured reserve.

Both Harris and Henry have played in NFL games before and could be solutions for Roseman and the Eagles to replace Graham in the overall aggregate.

Philadelphia is also looking to replace Bryce Huff in the short term after landing on IR due to a broken wrist. Henry and Harris each have multiple sacks during their NFL career but it is unclear which player would be called up for the team's upcoming matchup against the Baltimore Ravens.

There are also other available options as well.

The Detroit Lions released James Houston after struggling since his rookie season. Houston recorded eight sacks in his rookie season but has only recorded one since.

Under defensive coordinator Vic Fangio, Houston could be another player coveted by the Birds to replace their defensive captain at this stage of the year.
