The Philadelphia Eagles will officially begin their pursuit of a second straight championship on Thursday night, and star wide receiver A.J. Brown has a great way of looking at the challenging task.
Brown sat down for an interview with SiriusXM NFL Radio ahead of the Eagles' season-opening game against their NFC East-rival Dallas Cowboys. The three-time Pro Bowl wideout was asked how he has gone about refocusing after the Eagles beat the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX last season.
Brown responded with a great quote about the Lombardi Trophy.
"The process is still the same. I think I am very blessed and fortunate to achieve and to win the Super Bowl as a team, but the process of the daily grind stays the same," Brown said. "Once you kind of look at it through that lens, you just gotta go back to work. All that stuff is over with. I like to say the Lombardi (Trophy), she's not loyal. She's not loyal, so we gotta do it again and try to win her over again."

Avoiding the Super Bowl hangover is incredibly challenging. It is far more common for a team to have a down year after winning a championship than it is for a team to win back-to-back Super Bowls.
Brown, who finished with 67 catches for 1,079 yards and seven touchdowns, seems to understand how difficult it will be for the Eagles to get back to the title game. He will have to keep reminding himself that the most coveted trophy in football has no loyalty.
