As the 2025 Elite 11 Finals unfolded under the California lights on Wednesday night, one Clemson commit made sure his name was remembered. Four-star quarterback Tait Reynolds delivered a sizzling late rally during the Pro Day portion of the showcase, completing 17-of-20 passes and finishing as one of the evening’s biggest risers.

Reynolds, who entered the prestigious event already carrying high expectations, appeared to find his rhythm when it mattered most. After a slow start to the scripted throwing session, he locked in for the second half, hitting every throw with precision and confidence.

“He didn’t miss a single throw in the back half of the workout,” On3’s Charles Power noted. “He’s a powerful athlete and really generates some RPMs through his base.”

Held in Los Angeles, the Elite 11 Finals bring together 20 of the top quarterback prospects in the country for three days of intense drills, testing and evaluation—capped by a 7-on-7 showcase Thursday night. The Pro Day mirrors an NFL Combine-style workout, designed to simulate a variety of throws in tight windows and on the move.

Tait Reynolds is more than just a quarterback — he’s one of the top multi-sport athletes in the country. The 6-2, 210-pound Clemson commit was once pledged to Arizona State for baseball and still plans to play both sports in college. He hit .373 with eight home runs as a junior and holds a ‘9’ grade from Perfect Game.

On the football field, Reynolds brings toughness and athleticism. He rushed for over 1,400 yards and 19 touchdowns last season while throwing for 2,238 yards and 22 scores. Built like a fullback, he’s fearless as a runner and can deliver strikes downfield, though he’s still developing as a passer.

Reynolds’ bounce-back effort comes at a perfect time for Clemson. The Tigers are looking to re-establish their offensive identity under Garrett Riley, and the Arizona native is expected to be a key piece of that future. His arm strength and late-session poise offer a glimpse of what could come once he gets to Death Valley.

In a loaded field featuring 15 of the top 20 quarterbacks in the 2025 class, Reynolds made his moment count. With national eyes watching, the Clemson commit delivered — and may have just elevated his stock even further.
