Class of 2028 wide receiver Braylon Clark settled the debate for which college football school is the true "WRU."
Clark is a four-star prospect and the No. 5 receiver in the Rivals Industry Rankings for his class. He holds offers from South Carolina, Duke, NC State, North Carolina, Penn State and others.
Teams like LSU have sent multiple receivers to the NFL, with Justin Jefferson, Ja'Marr Chase, Odell Beckham Jr., and Jarvis Landry in recent memory. However, Clark believed Ohio State held the title of "WRU," via Rivals' Chad Simmons.
His Week 1 visit to Ohio State confirmed his beliefs.
“One of the biggest highlights of the trip was obviously that Ohio State got the win," Clark said. "Getting to watch the game was great, too. Then, just how much love the recruiters showed. And of course, talking with Coach Hartline was great. It’s still early, but I really love Ohio State because they’ve been showing me a lot of love. Ohio State is just the best school for receivers right now.”
