Veteran NFL sideline reporter Erin Andrews is one of the busiest personalities in the sports media world.
In addition to interviewing players ahead of game days on Sunday and spending hours on the sideline, Andrews also hosts a successful podcast with co-host Charissa Thompson. But that's not all the beloved sideline reporter has on her plate.
On Thursday, Oct. 9 Andrews officially comment on her partnership with Gerber and highlighted its Family-Friendly Restaurant Fund.
"We’re launching the @gerber Game Day Family-Friendly Fund! #GerberPartner
I love watching games out and about — and I’m so excited to team up with Gerber to make it even easier for parents," she shared in a message on Instagram. "We’ve created a fund that restaurants can apply for to add things like highchairs, play areas, and kid-approved activities. It’s a win for parents like us and our kids."
"The Gerber Family-Friendly Restaurant Fundis the brand’s latest addition to its Parent-Friendly Pursuit Platform, a program dedicated to making the world a more parent-friendly place," Gerber said in a statement regarding the fund. "The fund is a nationwide initiative giving independent, family-owned bars and restaurants the chance to apply for funding to enhance their current offerings of family-friendly resources to upgrade the game day fun for both parents and their little ones."
In a comment released late last month, Andrews revealed how son Mack helped lead to the new partnership.
“I’m no stranger to game day but it’s a whole new journey as a mom. Now, as I report on the field, I’m also keeping track of Mack’s moves on the sidelines. Between snack time, nap time and play time, making sure he’s happy on game day can feel like I’m on the field too. That’s why Gerber is my MVP during football season," she said in the statement.
"They’ve got Mack’s favorite foods ready to roll, and they truly get what it means to support parents. Gerber’s commitment goes beyond mealtime, extending into communities by helping to transform restaurants to make a real parent-friendly impact."
Andrews will be back on the sideline this weekend as the Baltimore Ravens attempt to salvage their season and playoff hopes against the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday afternoon.
