For nearly two decades now, ESPN has partnered with some of the biggest stars in sports to make dreams come true for children in the Make-A-Wish program.
The "My Wish" series, which first debuted in 2006, has granted 88 kids with critical illnesses the opportunity to spend some time with their heroes and take their minds off the issues that face them — even if its only for a little bit.
This week ESPN revealed that the tearjerking segments will return every night from July 13-17 with appearances from Vikings wideout Justin Jefferson, Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud, world boxing champion Canelo Alvarez and the fan favorite Savannah Bananas.
Sunday, @SportsCenter's #MyWish series returns for its 18th season!

The series will also feature a "reimagined" version of Rascal Flatts' "My Wish," which has served as the signature anthem for the stories being told.
And of course, longtime host Chris Connelly will also be back to lend his voice to the heartfelt moments viewers have come to know and love.
"Nearly 20 years after I started hosting My Wish, I am just as inspired by these children and their families as I was in 2006," Connelly said in a statement. "I'm honored that I can play even a small part in making these well-deserving kids' dreams come true."
Despite all of the changes happening at the Worldwide Leader, it's great to see the company continuing to grant wishes for children and families all across the country.
This year's series will conclude with a Thursday night wrap-up on the 17th which will recap all of the best moments from Season 18.
I know we can't wait to see the smiles these athletes are able to bring to the children that need them most.
