ESPN Predicts Winner of Chiefs vs. Texans Game

The Kansas City Chiefs and Houston Texans face each other in Week 14 at Arrowhead, and both teams need a win as they fight for a playoff spot.

The 7-5 Texans are currently eighth in the AFC, and they would improve their playoff chances to 85% with a win. Meanwhile, the 6-6 Chiefs are 10th in the conference but would boost their playoff probability to 49% with a victory.

While the Chiefs are struggling, they remain one of the most dangerous teams in the NFL with an experienced roster led by quarterback Patrick Mahomes. Kansas City is battle-tested, and the squad knows how to play under pressure.

However, the Texans are the best defensive team in the league, so playing against them won't be easy either.

According to ESPN's Matchup Predictor, one team has a clear advantage over the other. The Chiefs have been given an overwhelming 65.3% chance to win, while the Texans are only at 34.5%.

It will certainly be interesting to see if Mahomes and company can live up to expectations, especially after losing three of their last four games. Sure enough, plenty of eyes will be on them to see if they can improve their seeding in the AFC.

A loss for both teams would be devastating. The Texans' playoff chances would decrease from 62% to 47% with a defeat, while the Chiefs' postseason probability would drop to 12% from 35%.
