Across the United States, people are doing what they can to raise money or offer support to those who have been displaced by the ongoing California wildfires. But ESPN reporter Holly Rowe came up with a far more personal way to help those in need.

Taking to X on Saturday, Rowe offered to put up eight people at a property she has in Salt Lake City, Utah. She even offered to pay for gas or flights to anyone willing to stay there since it's a nine-hour drive from California.

"If you are displaced due to LA fires, we all want to help. I have room for 8 people in Salt Lake City. It’s a 9 hour drive. I can pay for gas or flights. We all feel helpless and want to do something. Please reach out. Will help if I can," Rowe wrote.

Rowe has been receiving nonstop praise since posting this, with people from all walks of life praising her for making such a generous offer.

"A tremendous, generous offer from @sportsiren - thank you Holly, for your kindness and leadership - and hi," former NFL executive Amy Trask wrote.

"Holly Rowe forever remains a wonderful human being," another user replied.

"This is even more remarkable considering that Holly’s own home in Salt Lake was threatened by fire just last year," a third pointed out.

"Holly, proof again that you’re not only an incredible human being - but a national treasure!! ❤️ We need more @sportsiren in the world!!!" wrote a fourth.

"Holly Rowe is a class act. What a selfless act and giving heart. I have always loved and respected her, but this is next level," a fifth said.

The California wildfires have destroyed thousands of acres of land and destroyed countless homes, upending the lives of potentially millions in the southern California region. Thankfully, the number of people that have lost their lives in the fires has been minimized.

Just about every major sporting event has been postponed or moved in order to maximize available resources to help keep people safe in the affected areas.

If we had a hundred Holly Rowes, the world would be a much better place.
