Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs are preparing to face off against a familiar foe in the Super Bowl.

With Super Bowl LIX just four days away, Mahomes was asked about the differences between this Philadelphia Eagles defense and the one he faced two years ago in Super Bowl LVII when he and the Chiefs escaped with a 38-35 win.

“I think they lost some great players as far as the older guys,” said the quarterback, “but they’ve gained a lot of other younger guys as well. The young guys that were in the game, they’ve gotten even better, so it’s going to be a great football team, and we know that, and it’s going to take our best football to try to find a way to get a win. They’re going to be hungry, and they’re going to go out there, and it’ll be a great game for everybody to watch.”

Mahomes and the Chiefs will be happy to learn most of those in the ESPN ranks believe a three-peat is in the works.

"I'm picking the three-peat. Listen, if you just look at the teams from top to bottom I think the Philadelphia Eagles are the more talented team. But I'm not betting against Andy Reid, Patrick Mahomes and company in this moment in time playing for history...I'm going with the Chiefs," former NFL player Damien Woody said.

ESPN later revealed a graphic showing the picks from everyone else, including host Mike Greenberg.

Former NFL player Bart Scott was the only member of the crew to pick the Eagles.

Super Bowl LIX kicks off at 6:30 p.m. EST on Sunday night.
