On the opening kickoff, Bills’ Dorian Williams and Broncos’ Marvin Mims collided head-to-head and did not get up. It was a frightening moment mere seconds into the Divisional round game.

Both players hit the turf hard and needed help getting up. A stretcher was brought out, but Williams was able to walk off the field with help from trainers.

Dorian Williams then went into the locker room on the back of a cart. It would not take long for the Bills to rule out Williams for the remainder of the game. The former third-round pick from Tulane had sustained a neck injury.

He would receive imaging at the stadium, but things only got scarier. Williams walked into an ambulance and was taken to a local hospital, according to CBS sideline reporter Tracy Wolfson.

Mims, on the other hand, was evaluated for a concussion and cleared to return.

Fans sent prayers his way:

“sending so much love to Dorian Williams ,” one fan said.

“Pray for Dorian Williams,” a second fan wrote.

“Hope Dorian Williams, former Tulane star linebacker and current Buffalo Bill, is ok after making a tackle on the opening kickoff.,” a third fan added.

“Hoping for positive news on Dorian Williams. Good to hear he got in the ambulance on his own ,” one final fan commented.

This is bad news for a team that ruled out two key players before this game . The Buffalo Bills have ruled out running back Ty Johnson (ankle) and linebacker Terrel Bernard (calf).

Not all was bad, as Ed Oliver and veteran wide receiver Curtis Samuel are both active.
