The New Heights Beer Bowl is coming up, but unfortunately, Travis Kelce will not be able to attend. So Jason Kelce is trying to find a host that could step up in his place.
"Unfortunately I will not be attending this year" Travis said on the most recent episode of the New Heights podcast. "I love you 92%ers but I got a lot of sh** I'm doing right now, and unfortunately when we timed up this calender, I wasn't aware that we were going to do the Beer Bowl this weekend."
However, Jason couldn't help but poke fun at his brother for his busy schedule.
"It's always the last Wednesday before July 4th, but that's fine. It's fine," he said and then started laughing.
In Travis' place, the brother's didn't look very far. And Travis decided to grab another Kelce to join Jason.
"There will be another Kelce stepping up in my place that will probably be 10 times better than any episode or any Beer Bowl that ever comes around again," Travis said. And they will probably take my place on New Heights forever."
So who is this special host?
It's Kylie Kelce!
If she had any doubts, Travis made sure to lock her in for the gig.
"And Kylie, you can't back out. I just said this. I don't even know if you're available but if you are," Travis went on.
Jason certainly agreed that it wasn't a bad idea.
So basically, Travis said all this without even checking with her. In his own words, "I think this would be awesome and I'm just throwing it out there because I can't go."
The two brothers recorded the most recent episode this past Sunday on Father's Day. So Jason had the perfect idea to get her to say yes.
"Maybe I ask her today on Father's Day," he explained. "She can't say no on Father's Day."
Kylie quickly became a fan favorite after appearing on an episode of New Heights, where people truly got to see her incredible relationship with Jason. And what made everyone fall in love with her was the fact that she didn't hesitate to poke fun at the former Philadelphia Eagles center.
So imagine her and Jason on stage together hosting this event. It would be incredible.
But regardless, Travis sent one final message to the fans who are disappointed he can't attend.
"I wish I was there, obviously. From now on I'll never schedule anything on a Wednesday before July 4th ever again. Love you 92%ers, but I know you guys will have an absolute blast with or without me. And somebody's walking away with $50,000... And a Gold Cup."
