'Everything is on the table' for Bears at QB in 2021

The Chicago Bears rotated between Mitchell Trubisky and Nick Foles as starting quarterbacks during the 2020 NFL season. That experiment went so poorly that the Bears have since been linked with reportedly unsettled Seattle Seahawks starter Russell Wilson and wantaway Houston Texans signal-caller Deshaun Watson in trade rumors.

Bears general manager Ryan Pace may already be on the hot seat even before he adjusts the depth chart as he sees fit this offseason. Per Michael David Smith of Pro Football Talk, that reality has Pace considering every option in front of him for the sport's most important position.

"Everything is on the table in regards to the quarterback situation," Pace said. "That includes players on our roster, players in free agency, trade, the draft, or a combination of all of those. We have a plan in place and now it’s about executing that plan."

The Seahawks allegedly desire three first-round draft picks included in any trade for Wilson, while the Texans continue to insist they don't want to even discuss dealing Watson before the draft. As for to-be free agents currently not associated with the Bears, we hear that Ryan Fitzpatrick wants to start for a team next September.
